HLAA is an educational organization for deaf and
hard of hearing people, their relatives, caring friends,
and the general public.
The Delray/Boynton Chapter is the largest chapter in South florida. We have been
serving the Delray and Boynton Beach area for 18 years.
18 years of helping people cope with their hearing loss.
STAYING INFORMED: At meetings we have guest speakers who
are knowledgeable about hearing loss and the implications.
They provide us with insights as to new methods, medical
techniques and aids designed to improve hearing for those
who suffer hearing loss.
WE HELP ONE ANOTHER: In addition, when hearing impaired people
meet with others with similar problems, they benefit from each
other's experiences. At meetings, our members are encouraged to
speak up about their problems and their experiences.
SINGLE SOURCE: Because of our collective members'
experiences with aids and services - Assistive Listening Devices,
hearing aids, audiologists and medical practitioners,
and the inherent problems that come with hearing loss,
we are the one and only entity that can offer practical advice
About Hearing Loss and how to over come it.
